This is a cherry TV stand with a birds eye maple top I did for a guy that wanted to match a table that his Aunt had given him. I wasnt realhoton the red stain at first, but it kinda grew on me a little.

Looks great. I’m in the process of building one right now. We did a test run on some stain and came to the same conclusion. Were looking at dyes today that have some more brown in them. I garee the to[ and feet really show this off. Well done.

Nice TV stand. The color of the base really makes the top stand out.

nice contrast, the top looks really good and the leg treatment is great. I think the piece might look a bit better if the top rail was a bit thinner. Not sure whether reducing the overall height of the whole thing, or making the doors a bit taller would be the best way to do it though.
