My Brother gave me some wood(a couple of 2×6’s & a 3×7 all about 4 ft long, the Last picture(Dark brown stripe) shows what the wood looked like with all the oil & grime on it, who knows how long in a garage, & what kind of oil.

I started resawing & cleaning, approx 18” x 12” x 9” High, Possibly Maple w/ Padauk Drawer Dividers

Made this box for my daughter for a jewelry box.

Hope you like

Sorry, the Joints are all box Joints not Dovetails. The Drawers have Dowels pinning the Box Joints for more Strength.

We love reclaimed wood! The jewelry chest looks very good. But why did you remove all that “patina”? LOL

I add my admiration. Love those kind of box cabinets. What a treasure chest.
