Shaker style drafting table in cherry. My wife wanted a drafting table, and we had been through a couple of iterations of trying to find one to purchase, when I found an article in an old issue of Finewoodworking for a drafting table. I adapted the mechanism for the table from the article into a Shaker style table that I designed. The mechanism is made entirely out of wood and supports the top at 10 angles. The breadboard ends are still long in the photo, as I wanted the top to go through a season of movement, before I trimmed them to final length.
