This is my first attempt at an endgrain cutting board. Made with European oak it took quite a while for the walnut oil to dry but I am pleased with the finish and will have a go at a mixed wood one next time. Any suggestions?

My that European oak is stunning. Very rich and handsome looking.

Good job on the glue-up and leveling. It looks great.

I used to use walnut oil, but found the mineral oil is a lot cheaper.

Keep it up,
Steve
