This is apuzzle I made from birch for my nieces. I made a frame, also from birch to keep it together. To ensure a non-toxic color I used food coloring and left the clear finish off. the plans came from a magazine. This a partially completed project photo. My scroll saw was used to cut out the pattern.

I think the puzzle looks great. I particularly like the two small fish encompassed within the large fish. Your nieces should enjoy it.

That is so cool, my grandson would love one of those. Too bad his grandpa doesn’t own a scroll saw.

Something is a little fishie here. LOL. Great work. I also like the fish in a fish ideal.

bch- It came from “WOOD” mgazine. It is in issue 147 from March 2003.
