Here is my latest attempt in segmented turning. I have the book Woodturning with Ray Allen and have been wanting to do this project similar to his works with diamonds in the feature ring for a couple years now. Making the diamond feature ring was a learning experience. 170 pieces made up of walnut and maple, 6.5”diameter, 5” tall. Thanks.

Hey that’s nice and a lot of work .I finished my sled @ 15 now I’m doing 10 degrees .

lovely job Mike, they look like nice tight joints, simple timber combo’ & design so the piece doesnt get lost in jig saw
