my newest project a chids chair for my nephew landon

here is a chair i made of southern yellow pine a single 1×12 board , i made this chair for my nephew landon i made it using pocket hole screws on the underside of the seat the chair is finished with 4 coats of a hand rubbed black cherry stain with sanding with 400 grit wet dry sand paper in between each coat of stain the chair went though the same thing with the poly , the chair has 8 coats of gloss poly with a coat of liquid wax applied in between each coat of polly i,m very please with the finish beacse trying to get a good finish on pine can sometimes result in blotchy looking finish
