I wanted to try one of those grease boxes, even though I am not a big hand tool guy. I have planes and I use them when they are needed, but I will turn to a power tool if I have one to do the job. With that being said I still wanted to make one. The other thing that I have wanted to do is pay a co-worker friend back for the nice piece of ebony that he gave me. He plays guitar so I thought I would make a grease box style guitar pick holder for him. Well here it is.
It is made from some of the ebony he gave me, with a bow tie of maple.

Mads, I really enjoyed making the grease box, but I am kinda sad that I don’t have it anymore. Looking back, I should have made two of them.
