As promised to Kyra (my grand daughter), I completed her table and chairs. The pieces were made from soft maple and poplar using mortise & tenon joinery. The table top was laminated with purple Formica scraps found in a Chico cabinet shop which met the specs of my grand daughters finish scheme (pink & purple). Kyra & YiaYia (grand mother) decorated and applied the butterflies to the back of the chairs. The blessing on the bottom of the chairs is for Kyra to find at a later date. My thank you’s to Lee Barker for providing me a link to children furniture dimensions and Ana-White of for the chair design inspiration.

Now that looks like it will last a couple generations not like the plastic the stores sell. Good Work.
