I had a 2×6 of zebra wood around for a long time and finally band sawed it into two book matched pieces.
The legs and apron are birdseye and figured maple.

Breathtaking, Terry. I like the design restraint that keeps my eyes focused on the top.

Anji12305: The rails have short grooves and I use little steel “Z” shaped table top fasteners to allow for expansion and contraction.
