This is my new scroll saw stand I made. The stand is just made out of spruce because in the shop we don’t need arts and craft style tool stands!! I got free plans from wood magazine. Give me your advice!!!

Well done.

Nice. I’m building one just like it. Are you planning on installing leveling feet? I can already tell that between my build and the concrete floor mine is going to be wobbly….

Yes I will be leveling the feet. In my shop I have a large crack in the middle of the floor.
So I will have to level the feet all because of that beveled floor!!

Might I suggest using some 1×4 stock abou 3 to 4 inches long on each end of the lowers as feet? They help a lot on floors with “waves” in them like your crack. If you still need levellers, they offer more wood to mount them to.

Great looking stand – happy scrollsawing – I am sure that many great looking projects will come from this saw. Post when you can.

Its interesting. Do you have any trouble with vibration from the saw causeing the stand to move?
