I made this Jewelry Box from the plans from Woodcraft. It was a present for my middle son’s girlfriend when she graduated from college. It made from African Mahogany that was given to me by one of my neighbors. The accent strip is Bird’s Eye Maple.

Great work, I’ve tried to make that box twice and failed both times:( I need a better band saw to pull of this off. But when I get that new bandsaw, I have a great piece of 12/4 paduak waiting for it.

very nice project. I’ve seen Scotty Phillips, from American Woodworker do a box similar to this on a video. I have saved it for quite some time now, and one o these days, I’m gonna make one.
