Coral reef.
This is a Pyrography on Red Cedar, measuring 11” x 20”.
Subjects came from a snorkeling trip to Key West a couple of summers ago. We took a lot of underwater pictures at the coral reef off of Bahia Honda. I tried to throw in a lighthouse at the top as viewed through the water. (It didn’t work well :) I guess it would help to know what that would really look like.

Gorgeous work, it looks so authentic, almost looking, like a picture. Great job.

Do people just stop and stare at the incredible pieces you create?
Heck… I see nothing negative with this.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments…...actually these pieces pile up in my art room in the basement, while I figure out exactly what to do with them. I did take some to work to hang in my cubicle. (New job, probably won’t get much time for art anymore)

It’s a very interesting piece of art and turned out really great. Congratulations.
