I was digging through some drawers earlier tonight and found these little gems that I did a few years ago. I really enjoy working on the scroll saw – it’s very relaxing. I think these have given me a little bug to get back to the scroll saw to do some more.

Nice. Watch out for the bug, you might get infected with an incurable addiction.

Really nice work Betsy. Are they all 3/4 – 1” thick? Are you going to hang them, or incorporate them into another project?

Bill – all but the duck are just under 1”. The duck is 1/4” material. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with these. They’ve been living in a drawer for a while. I’m not much of one to have decorations or pictures hanging up all over the house – so they will probably go back in the drawer. Most of my projects are given away. I just don’t have the room to keep everything I make.

Betsy. Looks great. have you ever done a map of the USA as a puzzle. We were thinking about doing a set of puzzles for the toy club for Christmas.

Karson – I’ve never done the puzzle of the USA. I’ve seen one done. It really would not be that hard to do and I don’t think it would be that time consuming. I would think a good frame as a background and paste a heavy duty copy of the map onto some good finish ply and cut away. I think it would be a very cool project.

Thanks Blake!
