Made this for a birthday gift, used Redwood with Golden Pecan stain and brushed on Spar varnish. I made the heart w/arrow template in Microsoft Word. I learned some things while cutting out this first one, but I think it will still be appreciated.

Great looking project! Band-saw boxes are fun, you can let your imagination run wild! Do some more!!!
The one thing I learned cutting one of these is follow the grain into the inner cut, hides the kerf very well.

Looks good, I still haven’t finished my first one and its been 4 years. Every once and a while I get it out and mess with it. I don’t think it will l.ook as good as yours however.
