going to use small logs for the legs. i cut them with a chain saw very slowy

—-again, great wood work and good steady hand you have for the ‘free form’ chainsaw cutting….!
I do believe that the look of rustic is in your eyesight. This type of cutting you are doing is great for end tables, log seats, benches and whatever the imagination can see into the wood.
