Wow, Dick, you're hot today - three chests and all of them different. Ive not seen or hear of "Leatherwood" previously. I like the style of this - I'd call it a steamer chest.

Dick, very interesting project. What is leatherwood? This might be good to make for a young Boy Scout I know.

David, It's the same pressed wood material they use for Pegboard, By Masonite Corp. Like I said,I don't know if its made anymore. Maybe you could get it on special order. I made some book covers for some USGS topographic maps once. They looked real nice.

Hey Don, They don't make steam powered airplanes. LOL
