I was a bit suprised when I was power washing a root ball of its dirt/sand(Florida) so I could just lift it. (it was to big for the space) While washing the dirt out, by mistake I hit a branch and the bark just disapeared. The next storm we have in this area I’ll have to look around for downed trees that I can handle. This may be my next project.
Thanks for sharing that Idea.

I hope it’s not a more difficult to mill without the bark Hap. But you could always use the chainsaw again.

Using a pressure washer to remove the bark from cedar is one of those things that never crossed my mind. Kinda instaclean. Goes from fresh to freshly weathered. How much time did it take to do the one pictured and have you had any success on other species?
