I had been Blogging this for a while but just could not get time to finish it. Even in the photos it looks finished but I am waiting for the draw handles (Black arts & crafts) The sides are Quilted Makore and the rest is cherry. They sit in our sun room so they will get a lot of sun and darken over the next few weeks and I will rub out the top with 0000 steel wool and wax then they go int the bed room.

Those turned out great. The Makore really is a nice choice. It looks awesome. I used some curly Sapele on some projects and love the addition of exotics.

A while back when all the fuss was being made a number of people asked to have all there posts and names removed from LJ one of the people was the one I got the QM from and are no longer here, even the PM’s we exchanged were gone. I wish they were here to thank.

Funny you should ask I was just talking to someone about why I have not started on that. I have packed up my shop and house and move it to Virgina where we just bought another house the end ov November. I have a new shop as well that is 23’ X 37’ (two and a half times the size as the old shop) but its just a bare bones 2 car garage so I am starting from scratch setting up a new shop. Here is a video series I started documenting it.

Hope all is well.

Thanks Jim, I still intend on making new tops and mounting the hardware after the new shop is completed.
