This is an old project of mine. I just ran across the photos, so I thought I would pad my presence here at bit :) and post it. The model here is my (then) 2 year old son.
This is a medium size blanket chest built along the lines of a medieval travel chest. The material is pine as it was to be painted (but not by me, thank God).

I could scale one up for my 12 and 15 year old boys…
Unusual design, but pleasing to the eye.

Hi Wayne;
Is your son(?) still in the box when it’s closed?
Nice job.
