This is my first woodworking project. Made a lot of mistakes, but learned a lot along the way.

That’s incredible! Are those cup holders between each section?

Thanks, and yes they are cup holders. Wish I went with the larger cup holders, but again, another lessoned learned :)

First project! I’d be lucky to pull that off now! We’ll just say I’ve got a few years and projects behind me. Great work, can’t wait to see some more.BTKS

A fine looking table. First woodworking project? That was a “big bite” for newbee. Can’t wait to see what your second one will be. Try not to make us old guys look too bad ok?

Thanks again, I’ve still got a lot to learn so I doubt I will be making anybody look bad any time soon. Hence no close up shots :)

Yeah, well, we all make each other look bad (and good) around here, and it’s because of the learning thing. You say that you have a lot to learn, but if you talk to the guys here who’ve been doing it for like 30 years (I’m one of them), we still say that we have a lot to learn, and it’s probably a big reason we will always work wood. Give it a minute, and I think that you, too, will be counted among the walking dead….. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.....cough.....hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!Ha!
