This is a woodwhisperer inspired entertainment center, It is walnut with black palm handles, the photos do not show proper color for some reason and the white that appears to be inside the grain was produced by the flash and is not actually visible. The handles are 6 sided and have a 15 degree slant on each end grain side, the finish is semi-gloss arm-r-seal. This is my first piece of furniture so I really appreciate Marc’s podcast and plans, they were very well done. I really learned alot from this project.

Also, my initial plan was to bookmatch some walnut burl and use for the doors, although the panels turned out really nice, I did not use them for this project because I did not think the end result would be as nice. also the veneer that I bought from veneer supplies was so beautiful prior to pressing but afterwards it lacked the depth and really did no justice to the beauty of the veneer, Thats ok I still have 2 sheets that are waiting for the right project. The last picture is of the door panels that did not make the cut! What do you guys think, did I choose the right doors?

Thanks for looking

Robert

Sweet! Agree, Marc does a great job detailing his projects. Well done. Can’t wait to see you make use of that walnut burl. Thanks for sharing. Play safe.
