This is the size of a desk more or less. I found the top which was covered in layers of paint. Sanded it way down, then added a little mineral oil which showed a top of fingerprints, so then I sanded with steel wool even more and the finish really smoothed out and does not show any fingerprints now. The rest is surplus wood from the lumber yard and some renovations near my house. wood finish is Safecoat Durostain Mahogany low VOC. nice stuff to work with, goes on almost like paint and sometimes I don’t even wipe it off I just apply 2-3 coats then sand down a little. I just finished a chair that kind of matches it….need to post that soon.
