Here’s a garden bench project I salvaged from the junk and recycled the parts I could. It ended up being a Christmas present for my sister. She liked it so much, she won’t put it outside and has it in her house. I replaced all the boards with Red Cedar. Took the cast ends and cleaned all the rust and dirt from them and painted with Rustoleum Hammered Brown. Replaced all the bolts with carriage bolts. Finished the cedar with Minwax Natural 209. Overall a fun and fairly easy project to bring something back to life that would have otherwise been tossed in the trash.

Man nice save, looks great. The wood looks really nice as well… Congrats to you.
