Well thought and fabricated in one day, I made this desk without plan and I designed it progressively according to the scraps I had on hand in the shop.

- Top 24’’ X 16’’ (29’’ above the floor)

- Sides 12’’ X 25’’

- Keyboard shelf 8’’ X 22’’ (25-1/2’’ above the floor)

- Keyboard shelf support 3’’ X 19’’

- Printer shelf 12’’ X 21-3/4’’ (20-1/2’’ above the floor)

- Back stretcher (stringer) 3-1/2’’ X 22’’

- Feet 2-1/2’’ X 16’’

The length of the two front short legs has been determined by the height of the casters. Watch this tip on how to measure casters height.

Thanks for watching this simple shared project.

Looks nice, great use of scraps. Isn’t it rewarding to make something useful and clean up the shop in the process?

Nice and simple.
Well done, and I love when things can be made from scraps.

Be careful If you make a project in a day your house and shop will not be enough tall ….. Or you will make an extension to your house ….
