Well yesterday was my daughter’s last woodworking class. They built these neat little catapults and got to test them out by launching marshmallows in the direction of us parents. Fortunatly they all needed to work on their aim, no parents were harmed during the test :)

She enjoyed the class very much and made two other projects. As posted previously. I am looking forward to having her help with many projects in the future. May even have to build one of these little guys myself so we can battle over the summer.

As a side note the for all the SewingJocks out there the shirt she is wearing was made by my wonderful at my daughter’s request for a special shirt for valentines day :)

Thanks All.

I noticed you lived in NOVA. I have a 6 year old that would love to take a class. Where did you daughter take the class?

Love the catapult and the shirt. I have a three year old boy and I would get him to make one except I think he would work out how to beef it up to throw things more interesting than marshmellows.
