Here’s the Valentine’s gift for my better half. A keepsake / jewelry box turned from maple and topped with a turned cherry lid, ebony knob and cherry dividers. It measures 7” in overall diameter with an interior 6” diameter and is 2.5” tall (including the knob). Several coats of spray lacquer were applied for the finishing touch. I’m really pleased with the results!

Very nice, I like the “defect” in the wood at the lip of the bowl. I always try to keep any edge damage, bark inclusions or wood decay in the projects when possible. It adds additional character to a beautiful piece.
