Still working to improve my safety and efficiency in the shop, I made several feather boards and a couple of push sticks. I still have to make some for my jointer, but the push sticks have double use for the router table and jointer. BTW the push sticks have shelf covering material on the bottom to better grip the wood, I purchased it from Walmart. I also use this when I use the router on the bench, it works very well and is a whole bunch cheaper than the stuff they sell in the wood working supply stores for the same purpose.

You’re right Dusty! After I took the pictures and uploaded them to LJ I noticed that, but I said to myself that aww shucks no ones going to notice that. But you win the prize, you noticed and called me on it. Heh heh heh.

Hi Steliart I got the ides for the feather boards from the January 2005 issue of American Woodworker.
