The Wave Pen The Wave Pen No-picture-s Click the pictures to enlarge them

Here is an attempt of a “Wave Pen.” I used a scroll saw to create the ‘Wave”. My wife said this is her favorite Wooden pen I’ve done so far.

The pen blank is Mahogany and the “Wave” is four piece of Birds Eye Maple Veneer. (scrap) This is a Black Titanium Euro.

Very nice pen. However, I’m not a turner so I gotta ask, how’d you do that wave thing?

Nice job. I’ve turned a few pens but nothing compound like that. I’ll echo Russel, how did you do it?

If there was a “not just another pen” contest, this would get my vote!

I’m itching to try segmenting my blanks. Your Wave turned out really great.

Nicely done, if you hadn’t told me how you did this I would have gone crazy. Thanks for sharing and saving my life.
