This is an elm square bowl approximately 9” x 9” x 1.5”. The wings curve down slightly, but not all the way to the table top. This was my first attempt at a winged bowl. It is sandblasted and finished with 3 coats of Waterlox Original. An assist goes to Corey Anderson who also gave me the wood.

Nice piece..I tried to do a square bowl but didn’t get the hole drilled dead center for the screw chuck and it ended up being crooked so needless to say it didn’t turn out so I turned it round and finished it. Bout time to try it again but with better preparation. Thanks for sharing!!
