We all have our good days and bad days… but sometimes the bad ones can be a real bear. Cut from a piece of Horse Chestnut and I found that it carves relatively easy. Thanks for looking.

To modify an pld saying… Sometimes you eat with the bear, and sometimes the bear eats with you. :-)

I guess I’m a little slow today. It took me a little while to get the wordplay. Great job on the spoon as always and great idea.

Great fun and beautifully carved.

I wonder what your take on an ‘Eating with the Devil’ spoon would be like?

Spoontaneous, this spoon is EPIC!

The horse chestnut, do you carve it green or is it easy to carve when it has been seasoned??

Love your designs, do you have something for Valentines?

Thanks y’all. Kweenbee, the horse chestnut was fairly dry I ‘spose’ and it carves pretty easy… sort of like cherry… but maybe tighter grained. Sanded easy.

Martyn ~ I’ll have to ponder that one. ‘Devil’s food cake’ comes to mind.
