Here’s a neat project I did to spice up the passageway where I work. I basically split a sheet of plywood in half, so it’s 4 ft tall and slightly under 4 ft across the bottom. I made both the leading edge and the trailing edges out of standard 2×4s. I did so becuase I wanted to have some shape to each while also providing some structural strength minimize warping of the plywood.
With a $20 sheet of plywood, I didn’t desire the wood grain so I used auto bondo. This was the first time I had used bondo so was a good learning experience as well as a new found appreciation for auto body experts. I added a trailer light and some pin striping. I can’t take credit for the letters and logo, those were made by a local trophy shot. Enjoy and look forward to any comments.

Neat idea Al, ought to get lots of mileage from the Hotel Sierra jocks!
My days in support of Navy were as a tech rep for the A7 Corsair II, most fun I ever had in my career.

Nice work! Best years of my life were spent with hornets at VFA-125 as a plane captain and then in the powerplants shop.
