I made these boxes for my Granddaughters. They will get them for a Valentines gift. I had a hard time with the brass screws twisting off. Thanks to all the LJ’s that answered my question and solve my problem I was able conquer that setback. The wood is yellow heart and purple heart and I lined the bottom with black velvet.

She’ll love it. What a great gift. If they are like my daughters anything (nonno) grand dad gets them is just the best.

Lovely boxes, they will be wonderful gifts. Very well done, like the wood choices.

Very nice, I love the spline joints. I’m sure your granddaughters will treasure them. Great job!
