My first project made in 2005. A 30 X 40 table for my grandson and his Thomas the Train set. I looked online to see what was out there for this kind of table but didn’t like anything I saw so I designed this one. I saw a similar one online but of a different size. It’s plain sawn oak with birch plywood for the top. I used dowels to connect the corners to the sides. My grandson is 8 now and still uses it but now it’s hot wheels and Legos sets.

Good job. I like the edges. How are the done? Why do boys like trains? The same reason men often do.
