I recently picked up these great iGrain cases from Engrained for my and my wife’s iPhone 4’s. I had them put the workshop logo on the back. The wife’s case is walnut with an oil and poly finish. Mine was a special piece of spalted oak, of all things. The second pic shows the inside and how it wraps around the phone. They fit great and are as unique as it gets. The wood is so much nicer than the plastic cases they sell nowadays.
He used a cnc machine, similar to mine but a tad better…. grrrrrr. One Day!
The owner of Engrained is a friend and fellow woodworker and these are his new products. The site isn’t even finished yet, but keep an eye out for these things. Feel free to check out the site in a week or two, www.getengrained.com.

Cool -except that in 6 months it’ll be obsolete and will be busted up for kindling.

Thanks, I think. I’m assuming that you mean they will be obsolete because that’s when the new iPhone comes out. Unfortunately we will not qualify for the upgrade for at least another year. By then, I’m sure Engrained will have cases for the new one.
Thanks for looking.
