Made the tracks on this one too tight so they dont turn easily, i’ll make 1 or 2 replacement parts a little larger to fix that, had to waste a bit of wood on this one due to my band saw not tall enough to resaw the body of the tank to the correct thickness, had to run the board thru my thickness planner to get it down to size

Outstanding, I to have built one of those. Is that a Cherry Tree Toys Plan, or Joy of Toys, or your own?

Ohh…. I want one! I use to be a tank platoon leader… been toying with how to do this. I was thinking that a plastic model could be the start point for the measurements. I would love to know the steps you did! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone for the comments, i was pretty happy about how it turned out when it was finished.
Dukegijoe i got the plans for this at
your right Cessna, seeing i took an early retirement i do have plenty of time to start over, in fact i’m doing that now with a chevy coupe that i messed the fenders up on, so its back to the scrap pile for those.

That tank is beautiful and very realistic.

I am not impressed easily with toys, but I admire the work, effort and detail put into your projects.

I have the capacity on my band saw so build the next one here. You will need to add a working cannon for the squirrels though.
