This group of four bottle stoppers from my patchwork series was a bit of an experiment. Each stopper has four species of wood. Three of the species in each stopper are Walnut, Maple and Mahogany. The fourth specie is different in each stopper and includes Cherry, Brazilian Cherry, Bloodwood and White Oak. I wanted to show the uniqueness the patchwork series can achieve even when similar wood selections. I think it worked.
As with the previous group of bottle stoppers I posted, these four all have two coats of Tung oil and wax for a finish. There are 151 segments in each stopper.
