During my military career I collected a few “Challenge” Coins.
Looking at the types of coin holders available I never found any that grabbed my eye, most were just boards with slots cut in them where the coins were stood side by side.
So I started making coin display holders in different styles.
Here are a few.
The wood is unknown, it is dunnage for freight shipped in from India.

Nice job. I have a pretty nice collection myself but there’s a few “special” ones that the individual coins would look great in.

BTW, congrats on your retirement and thank you for your service. I’m still a youngster myself, only 22 years next week as a matter of fact. Can’t believe the time has passed so quickly. I was at the airport last night to pick up my wife and there was a young Sailor, appeared to be fresh out of bootcamp…....always holds a special place in my heart to see military folks traveling as I always wonder if they are just returning home or getting ready to deploy.

Also, appears we are neighbors. I am just off Inidian River and Providence.

Awesome job on those coin holders. Look very nice. I nave a thing for millitary items no matter what branch of service.
