Here it is. I am very happy with the way it turned out, the hand-tool works really shows and i think i did a pretty good job with the dovetails even if they are somewhat hidden under the milk paint. Alas that was the look i wanted.
The top is figured hard Maple, the sides are book-matched soft Maple, the bottom is Cherry vennered ply and the plinth is also soft Maple. I really enjoyed working with the soft Maple. The finish is two coats of Soldier blue milk paint (roughly sanded) followed by multiple coats of a 3/3/3 mix, heavier on the varnish for the last coat.
Thanks for looking.

Nice job. lots of different wood included gives it a nice look. Good use of milk paint.
