This was a Christmas gift that was made from scraps around the shop… I didn’t have any real plans for it but I thought it came out pretty nice. The glass is fit snug in a groove cut out by my router and then covered by crimson felt. I used pine and put a mahogany finish on.

Nice job. That’s a good use for scraps. I’ll have to keep that in mind.
