this one would fit nicely in my collection of three-legged-vessels ! I like this allot … you should try ball and claw foot sometime.

Joe: How impressive. The legs look so dainty. The finish just sparkles

Very impressive Trifern – I have often admired your turnings. Can I ask how you created the legs?

Joe,
You have a style that is all your own and very descriptive. I really like to look at your earlier pieces and then compare them to your latest piece. You are an artist behind the lathe.

Looks great and I really like the dye color.

Thanks for all the feedback…

Dan, I have a “ball and claw” vessel/version in my head. Maybe it will be transferred to wood soon.

Stuart, I left a lot of extra wood at the base and then carved away the extra, leaving the feet.

Outstanding, Joe. I haven’t seen much posted by you lately, but this one was worth the wait!

Thanks Charlie, I haven’t had much shop time lately. The blizzard gave me a couple of days.

beautifull vessel poised gracefully on delicate “tippe toes”,
the display photo appears (to me ) as an outer space cloud formation around some distant “green” galaxy
