I am starting a new path nearer tool-making than cabinetmaking, since I´m finding great and expensive tools with some lack of my style of working
I´ve got in mine a range of projects such bow saws, wooden planes, marking gauge…. But I wanted to start with something small and funny like this “candy” of marking tools
Made by hand and perfectly tested, it is fininshed with a mixture of tung oil and 10% orange oil. I´m selling this dedicated tool at 50 $ + shipping, and it is able to be made from others fruit and exotic woods
The ones shown in here have been made from right to left: Pear and maple, cherry and wengue, maple and mopane.
The final design is the marker at the center
Hope you enjoy it !

Julio, You look to be on to something here! I would love to see an instructional video on this if you can do one.

These are great!!

Is there a functional purpose for the bevel/lip on the front corners or is it for aesthetics?

Lots of detail and precision in such a simple little piece. Very well done.
