This was custom order for a physician I work for. He needed a mudroom type bench/cabinet for his garage. He has four kids and the typical cabinet only had three lockers at most. Plus his wife wanted it to have no places for spiders to hide but wanted a bulky face frame. So I had to make each piece of plywood 1 1/2 inches thick which meant I had to buy double the amount of plywood. OMG, was it heavy!!! I stained the top and she painted it red after install. The top is attached to the bench with figure 8’s mounting brackets.

Beautiful cabinets, are you a carpenter and cabinetmaker?

I like to consider myself an avid woodworker/craftsman. I like to challenge myself to whatever I can no matter if it’s the first one of something I have ever built. Thank you for your compliments I like to think that everybody here beginning or avid is a craftsman at heart just like me.

Cool Drew, I am carpenter by trade so I consider myself a beginner.
