Project Information
At a recent sale I saw some bowling pins for a dollar. I had to pick a few up and try something with them. So when I got them home I remembered my Dad gave me some really long drill bits so away I went. This was the reason I made the bandsaw circle jig. Then I did the lazy man's sander. I put the wood circles on my drill press and had it going about 3000rpm and hit it with the 120 grit, 220, 500, 600, 1000, and then for some reason I wanted to see what 2000 would do. I never thought Pine could shine without poly or something but boy did it. You can see in the picture that it shines. Now all I need is a shade and its ready to sell. I even found a screw for the top that lookes like a bowling ball. And I thought the grain in the pine looks a little like the lanes at the bowling ally.
