I’ve been putting my shop together for over a year, and finally had to build something for the grand daughters first birthday.
I had purchased some raw cut white oak to build a glider, but never got to it.
All the pieces were cut on a table saw. A router table mounted on the wing of the saw with a 1/4” round over bit cleaned up all the edges.
I found a picture of the swing and made up the plans.
The frame and back are all assembled using brass screws and SS bolts. The seat pieces are glued to the frame and polyurethane spray covered the whole thing.
It should last long enough for her to give it to her grand daughter.
