The other day I perused every stool on lumberjocks , then went out to the shop. This is the result. The woods are Maple (some spalted) and Black walnut. It is finished with shellac. -- Jeff

I like the design at the bottom but it doesn’t leave much of a “foot” for support. Nice stool overall : )
-- When did quiet and quite become the same word ? I'm guessing about the same time as your and you're did.

Im currently making a stool project and I may use the curves food design you have there. I have to agree with Dust56 though I will be narrowing the curve for better support. Great looking project anyway.
