I figured the feng shuw needed balancing today we’ve had way too much good crap. Time for some serious rustic. This cabinet did get me an A in woodshop. It use to have a drawer and a door. I did at one time sand it and put a finish on it. When we moved to the country we moved into this tiny 70’s leaking borrowed trailer and it got very VERY hot in summer. So I had this cooler I stuck in one door on top of my wonderful cabinet. Which leaked. A little bit of snow and ice in the winters finished the patina. Added a real touch of class to the neighborhood. I’m styling it in northern redneck. Too bad I already entered an piece for craftsmanship in the contest.

Top that Misterwispererer!

BRAVO !!! Too bad you cant enter this in the show. You get top vote for creativity and top vote for craftsmanship. They just don’t make ‘em like this anymore.

Maybe next time there’s a contest there will be a category for best refinished piece

There’s no way that a stain can capture that beautiful natural patina

Dennis

You should be commended on the construction, because it has stayed together through thick and thin. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Build another one. You have all the advice you could ever need here.
