hello again. it is my round table which was finished in mahogany but i decided to gild it , now i try to add it’s pictures in process including a picture shows me on gilding :) after gilding i added that black patina to it , and you can judge about it’s effect on work. any comment or question is welcomed.

Beautiful job I would like to see the Mahogany table with just the carved leaves at the top of the legs gilded & the wood polished to give that French ormilou look do you do that kind of mixture of finishes?

thanks. yes it is goat feet, and I’ve named this ‘Goat feet table’
it has taken arround 200 sheets of immitation gold leaf.
