This is my first “big” woodworking project. i only have a few pictures due too i did this several years ago and never thought i would post it online. this is the first time i used a router also. i did fairly good and i hope to use it more in the future. used red oak stain and poly, nothing special. my daughter needed a a chest for all her toys so i got to work. if you have any question feel free to ask. i am new and will appropriate any help.

Nice box!
Did you use anything special to prevent the lid from slamming down?
