This cherry built-in was designed for a family with children to centrally locate the computers and TV. A TV/monitor will be located in the center of the built-in. Components will be in the lower center cabinet and computers will be put in the left and right side drop down cabinets. The unit has toekicks where slots were routed to help with air flow. The lower center cabinet sits out from the wall to allow for cords and cables. There is also access inside the lower side cabinets to run cables to the center cabinet.

Although the majority of the built-in is cherry, the beaded plywood on the back is maple. It was stained to match the cherry. Cherry darkens over time, so I stained the maple darker to closer match darkened cherry.

You can fit a ton of stuff in there. Very nice.
